Usually around 630-700. Very informal but rather nice!
Yes.
Alcoholic content? It varies from drink to drink, start at 5 or 6 percent
Super cozy space with so much to look at! Literally every time I turned my head I saw something else I wanted to get a better look at. I especially love that they serve their sampler flights in custom ukuleles. They have live music and, to make it special, only allow original music. Very cool thing for a place like TC! I love hearing covers, but local artists play music you’ll hear no one else here. Yummy cider and mead, games available to play with friends, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Awesome!
Cute lil local mead establishment. Cute Schtick with the acoustic guitar flights. If I’m being brutally honest the meads and cysers taste very watered down from the meads & cysers I am used to. I did feel like the Elvis was unique and the Rita was the best mead they had to offer. Ultimately we were sorely disappointed. Sadly , I wouldn’t revisit....Just being brutally honest.
One of my FAVORITES of TC - their Mead is so refreshing, and unique, AND they support local organizations and Artists! You never know what goodness you may experience on any night at the Tap Room - it's the best kind of lottery!
Great session meads!
Great atmosphere, fantastic service, really tasty meads. My wife and I loved it and WILL be back!
Really neat place. Server was super friendly and made us feel at home. Ciders were all pretty good and had a good variety.
Friendliest best place in town to either talk with your friends or strike up a good conversation with bartender or other folks. Almost always have live music of some sort or just grab one of the many instruments and make your own music. Small snacks for fun.
Very well made meads and ciders. Kinda pricey and the building is quite small. The Calypso (pineapple, lime, coconut, banana) and Lovely Rita (lime, blue agave, sea salt) are both excellent meads!
Okay, Jeanette is the Shiz... Best bartender ever! Love the atmosphere of this place, totally chill, laid back, amazing vibe!
Makes first timers feel like regulars. Placement is interesting - little cinder block building on the edge of a parking lot. Do a mead flight to find what you like. And then pick up a guitar and play something.
Great atmosphere, music, conversation, and great CIDER! Sarah was terrific.
Great atmosphere, awesome ciders, good all around vibe. Will definitely visit again.
Good Mead and Sarah the bartender is cheerful, and always happy to help you.
The service and meads are amazing. Great prices too!
I love Acoustic Mead! I seriously can't recommend enough! Great beverages, fantastic staff, and off the beaten path so generally not crazy busy. :)
Fun flavors. I had a flight of 4 and enjoyed tasting the mead and cider.
Delicious mead! Very friendly workers, bring outside food in, live music, cozy. Go there. Drink. Smile and sing.
I was here to join a group of poets and musicians, sharing a little creativity. Acoustic Tap Room is small, but in a relaxed, convivial way (we fit, I think, a couple dozen people, and there are outside tables, too, when it's warm).I hadn't tried mead before, but accepted a suggestion to try the Cherry Bzzz (hey, it's made from honey!), which I quite enjoyed. The place is just a few steps from the main road, but it feels wholly apart and relaxed...
My first time trying Mead. I loved the strawberry. Also carries great cider. Sarah took great care of us and the kids, feeding them popsicles and supplying with chalk and bubbles! I would definitely come back, especially later in the evening to hear talented musicians play all the amazing instruments!
Great little spot. Stop in and try some mead, and hear music from the local talent.
This is my favorite place for a most excellent glass of mead! The mead is so clean, pure and soft. A beautiful expression of love in every glass. The vibe, people, music and art are awesome as well! Seriously my favorite place in T.C.!
Great drinks and wonderful staff!
Music was great, very cozy little place with delicious mead.
I love this place-the ciders and meads are just amazing. So crisp and refreshing. The strawberry and Cherry meads are probably my favorites. Great atmosphere
Small cozy building with a friendly staff, eclectic interior, has acoustic instruments inside which you can play. They serve Mead's and hard ciders, very tasty. Has outdoor seating (2 picnic tables)
Great place to relax and enjoy good music and good mead and cider and of course, Jessi's company is great.
One of THE BEST places in TC to have a great afternoon with friends! Meads rule.
Wonderful place just off Oak that encourage you to join in the musical fun. Great staff with games and musical instruments on hand to play. All the product is wonderful and very delicious
Awesome atmosphere!
Comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Delicious meads and ciders. Will come back.
Local place with fun decor and an ambiance that's long on cozy. The only thing that exceeds the knowledgeable and super friendly staff (not to mention the colorful regulars!) is the excellent tasting craft meads and ciders themselves. If you find yourself anywhere near Traverse City, Michigan, do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve the good time you're sure to have!
Small place with a cozy feel. All the meads we tried (4 total) were delicious. The bar tender was awesome. I cannot say this enough. We told her where we were headed next on our brew tour and she gave us an amazing recommendation for an appetizer. She was knowledgeable about the meads and the whole area, which was fun. My 2 favorites were the Soul cyser and the Cherry mead.
Great mead, great service. What more could one ask for
Easily one of the coolest places I've been in a while. I enjoyed the extensive selection of house-made mead. The atmosphere is very artsy and musician oriented, though its clear all are welcome! The woman who served me and is also one of the owners was very welcoming and down to earth. I get the feeling that the owners genuinely enjoy the art of making mead. I will definitely be back in the future!
5 of us tried all 13 of the brews on tap....1st time drinking mead for most of us. Interesting flavors, even better staff and patrons. Thanks for a great afternoon & happy 4th anniversary!
The people r wonderful and welcoming.. even to a Texas burbon drinker who can not understand the appeal of honey with alcohol in it. The live music was excellent. A wonderful place to relax and meet new friends
Never have we had a bad time at this place, we love it! The meads are wonderful and also when mixed w a cider!
Awesome place a step back in time.
Lovely, tiny, cozy establishment that serves serves delicious mead (and other stuff I did not try). Just off the main drag. Small patio to enjoy the sunshine while you sip.
Coolest spot in Traverse City. Great mead with good local music.
This place is fantastic! Cozy little space to enjoy great local music, art and delicious drinks.
Great Mead and exceptional service. A real up and comer I'm the area. This place is going to succeed.
We weren't able to stay long, just grabbing a few requested bottles of mead for a family member. But I'm that time, we sampled every mead, bought a bottle of every one after, and a growler for the hotel tonight. All to the musical mastery of a guitarist just messing around. Whether he was employed there or not is unknown, and unimportant. If I'm ever back in town, I don't plan on making a night if it.
The place to try Mead or become a regular. Staff is the best.
Awesome atmosphere. Came here at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and I feel like a local. Awesome time, great stories and excellent mead. I wish I was a local so I could spend every afternoon here. 🻠to Acoustic taproom!
Delicious Mead. Great place to relax with friendly people. Try the Thomas drink.
First place of community I've found in a long time
We visited the Acoustic Taproom on a whim, and are lifers. 😠Best meads available, great staff, and amazing atmosphere!
This place was so cool. Small and welcoming. There's games and a piano too. Limited seating inside, but there's outdoor seating available. The bartender knew all about the meads, which was awesome since there were several to choose from.
Bruce and Susan provide a little piece of heaven tucked away on the end of Front St in Traverse City!
